Founded in January 2022, Mariachi Nuevo Azteca quickly rose to prominence with their debut at the 40th Tucson International Mariachi Conference, performing alongside Mariachi Los Camperos de Jesús “Chuy” Guzmán and Grammy-winning La Santa Cecilia. Since then, the group has shared the stage with world-renowned artists including Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán and Los Lonely Boys, further cementing their reputation as one of Tucson’s premier ensembles.

Their acclaimed productions—Homenaje a los Grandes, Canciones de Ayer, and ¡De Un Rancho a Otro!—showcase a deep respect for mariachi traditions while infusing each performance with their own unique style. Continuing their growth, Mariachi Nuevo Azteca released their first recorded single, Nunca Jamás, on August 29, 2025, marking an important milestone in their musical journey and opening the door to a new chapter of creativity and expression.
